Working from home has become the new normal. This post will help the Right Brain Thinkers to recognize some of the pitfalls when working from home.
Strategists like to see the bigger picture, but when you are working from home with family around, you can feel trapped. Set time apart to test uncharted and unfamiliar territories and make this a family experience. Plan a dream family holiday with lots of fun activities and experiences. See how far you can push the family’s boundaries during your discussions.
The Imaginers‘ like to be unorthodox, connect ideas and create something different and new. During lock down, the Imaginers’ really thrived. They are the Rockers of the world. Never a dull moment with them around. They are not always interested in all the details of stories or events. They prefer short and fast processes. Long processes and the repetitiveness of daily life can quickly trigger boredom. A good tip to survive during lock down is to scale down all your ideas and use your Left brain, especially your organization skills when things are becoming crazy at home.
The Empathizers like to reach out to family members and cheer them on. They are the caring parent or partner. The pitfall here is that the Empathizers can become everything to everybody. So they must remember to take time out and dream their own dreams.
The Socializers like people around them and enjoy a lot of interaction. The Socializers are the outgoing personalities, who really love people and have experiences together. New crowds make them excited and restore their balance.
The lock down period was not a pleasant experience for them. They missed their friends and could easily feel lonely and miserable. Keep up with all your social media, make those phone calls, do a walk in the park to see and meet people. Socializers need to Rock ‘n’ Roll, so switch on the music and have an online party.
